Sie haben die im Jahr 2015 ausgelaufenen Millenniumsentwicklungsziele (MDG) abgel\u00f6st, bauen jedoch auf diesen auf.<\/p>\n<p>Die SDG erweiterten die vorherigen acht Themenfelder der MDG auf 17 Ziele mit 169 Unterpunkten. Das erste Ziel ist die Beendigung von Armut \u00fcberall auf der Welt. Auch die Bek\u00e4mpfung von Hunger und der Zugang zu sauberem Wasser f\u00fcr alle werden weiterhin verfolgt. Um diese Ziele zu erreichen, wird ein ganzheitlicherer Ansatz verfolgt, der auch Infrastruktur, Geschlechtergerechtigkeit, Klimaschutz, den Schutz der Ozeane, Frieden und Sicherheit, nachhaltiges Konsumverhalten und die Reduzierung von Ungleichheit umfasst. Dar\u00fcber hinaus soll allen Kindern weltweit der Zugang zu einer kostenlosen Grundschulausbildung gew\u00e4hrt werden und die Benachteiligung von Frauen und M\u00e4dchen bek\u00e4mpft werden. Im Gegensatz zu den MDG spielt die Geschlechtergleichheit eine zentrale Rolle bei den SDG.<\/p>\n<p>Im Unterschied zu den MDG sind die Nachhaltigen Entwicklungsziele auch auf die Industriel\u00e4nder ausgerichtet.
