problem in Tanzania and has profound consequences for the country&#8217;s population. One of these consequences is the increase in the number of parentless children and adolescents. It is estimated that there are currently around 1.3 million children in Tanzania without parental care whose parents have died of AIDS. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"955\">These young people are often forced to live alone and fend for themselves, as there are often no adequate support systems for orphaned children and young people in Tanzania. They are also often affected by discrimination and exclusion, especially in schools and society. Without access to education and health care, they are particularly vulnerable to poverty and disease.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"957\" data-end=\"1336\">In recent years, however, the Tanzanian government has taken steps to improve the situation of orphaned adolescents in the country. Programs have been established to provide them with access to education and health care. In addition to SCHULBANK, there are other non-profit organizations that cater to the needs of this young generation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1338\" data-end=\"1908\">Despite these efforts, however, AIDS remains a major problem in Tanzania and the number of orphaned children and young people as a result of the disease remains high. To improve the situation, it is important that the Tanzanian government continues to take action to curb the spread of AIDS and increase support for parentless young people. It is also important that the international community continues its support for Tanzania in fighting AIDS and improving the living conditions of this young generation.
