Hotline: New SMS service for our sponsored children.

The larger our scholarship program in Tanzania becomes, the more time-consuming it is for us to communicate with sponsored children, parents, orphanages and schools. For this reason, we have been using a new SMS service for a few weeks now, which we can use to handle some of our communication quickly and easily. Invitations to appointments, reminders or simple greetings are sent to a large number of recipients at the same time via a controlled SMS service.

Even among the poorest members of the population, penetration has increased rapidly in recent years. And we can reach those who don’t have a cell phone via the mobile numbers of friends or neighbors.
