Mkwawa University

The Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) is a state university in Iringa, Tanzania. It was founded in 2007 and is named after the hero of the Hehe rebellion, Mkwawa. The university has a focus on teacher education and also offers courses in economics, social sciences, natural sciences and technology.

The university has several faculties such as the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Science and Technology.
