Pamela starts her professional life as a nurse and midwife with top marks.

Our scholarship recipient Pamela Nyandongo, who is studying at the Edgar Maranta School of Nursing.
Nursing School in Ifakara – Morogoro studied, passed her exams with distinction.

According to results announced this afternoon at the Department of Education, Pamela graduated with a grade point average of 4.3 (max. 5.0).

Pamela Nyandongo was born on 22.05.2000 in the Mara Region. She attended St. Dominic Sec School here in Iringa and has been supported by SCHGULBANK since March 2015. After four years of Ordinary Level Secondary School, Pamela graduated with the highest grade (Division One). Three years ago, Pamela attended the Edgar Maranta School of Nursing to become a nurse-midwife and graduated a month ago.

With these very good results, Pamela should now apply for a license to work as a nurse and midwife at the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC). The Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC) is a regulatory body that protects, promotes, and maintains public health, safety, and welfare through the regulation and oversight of nursing and midwifery education.

Once Pamela receives her license, she will have a good chance of finding work anywhere in Tanzania and in East and Central Africa.
